A PLACE TO SERVE

To minister is to serve, a calling common to all Christians.
Jesus Himself "came not to be served but to serve" (Mark 10:45)

WHAT'S YOUR CALLING ?

Our love for God, and others, is a response to God's love for us. One way we demonstrate love for God is through service.

Macleay Island Community Church encourages fellow believers to fulfil their calling and share their gifting's with Christ's body (the Church).

"As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God."1 Peter 4:10

Every member is significant and adds to the body.

"For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another."

Romans 12:4-5

God created every one of us with a unique purpose. When each person does their part in serving, the entire body brings glory to God and reflects Christ light.

"You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.”

Matthew 5:14-16
