Macleay Island Community Church has been donating to the Wycliffe Bible Translators for over twenty years.
Wycliffe is on a mission to spread the word of God throughout the world and in every language. As their website states :
In 1999, Wycliffe USA made a bold decision to adopt a God-sized vision: to have a translation program in progress in every language still needing one by the year 2025.
1.5 billion people don’t have a full Bible in their language. 128 million people don’t have any Scripture in their language. 350+ sign languages are still waiting for a video Bible translation.
We won’t stop until all people — speaking or signing more than 7,000 languages worldwide — have the Bible.
